Google Docs provides you with online document tools similar to the Microsoft Office Suite of products but also allows documents to be shared with others and edited by others simultaneously. This allows you and colleagues to collectively edit a document on the fly. Because the documents are in “the cloud” you can access them at any time, from any computer with an internet connection.

This video was created by Google to demonstrate the power of using Google Docs to collaborate with others. In this case a poorly written love letter is team edited to come up with a winner.
